Our client, a renowned educational institution in Openshaw, Manchester, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal growth of young learners with special educational needs.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a range of special educational needs (SEN). Your role will involve working closely with class teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each child.

In this position, you will utilise your expertise and passion for working with children to assist in the delivery of engaging and tailored lessons. This may include supporting individual students, leading small group activities, and collaborating with the wider team to develop and implement effective strategies that promote academic achievement and personal development.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and experience working with children with special educational needs. You will be a skilled communicator, able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Your ability to think creatively, problem-solve, and adapt to the changing needs of your students will be essential in this role.

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive daily rate of £102 - £115 per day, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs in the EYFS setting
- Assist in the delivery of engaging and tailored lessons, adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with class teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement effective strategies that support student learning and development
- Monitor and record student progress, contributing to the assessment and review of individual education plans
- Promote the inclusion and participation of all students, fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school policies and procedures
- Relevant qualifications in teaching, child care, or a related field (e.g. , NVQ, NNEB, TA qualification)
- Significant experience working with children in an EYFS or SEN setting
- Demonstrated understanding of the EYFS curriculum and strategies for supporting students with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young learners
