As Production Planner, you'll play a key role in coordinating schedules, ensuring materials are available, and helping the business deliver on time and to the highest standards. Working closely with multiple departments, you'll be at the heart of operations, supporting continuous improvement and production success. You'll be joining a supportive environment where your contribution is valued and development is encouraged. Key Duties:
  • Develop and manage production schedules aligned with customer demand and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure labour and materials are available, identifying and addressing any shortages.
  • Review bills of materials and raw material stock levels to prevent disruption.
  • Track and report on manufacturing progress, ensuring deadlines are met and issues are communicated.
  • Review supplier and production performance, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust plans to maximise output.
  • Generate and analyse key production KPIs, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as supply chain, operations or engineering.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a production planning or coordination role.
  • Proven experience using ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques.
