We are looking for a proactive and dependable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on our production operations.

The Role

As our Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring production equipment and site facilities remain safe, efficient, and fully operational.

Your duties will include:

    • Responding to machinery breakdowns and carrying out repairs.
    • Supporting our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme.
    • Fault-finding and resolving mechanical issues on production equipment.
    • Performing routine maintenance tasks including lubrication and servicing.
    • Conducting weekly forklift truck (FLT) maintenance checks.
    • Carrying out fire alarm and emergency lighting testing.
    • Undertaking minor repairs to portable tools.
    • Ordering maintenance consumables and spare parts.
    • Working closely with production and management teams to minimise downtime.
    • Supporting site Health & Safety standards and compliance activities.
    What We're Looking For
      • Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role.
      • Strong mechanical maintenance skills.
      • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
      • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
      • Good communication and organisational skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • A reliable, positive, and proactive approach.
      Desirable Skills
        • Engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
        • FLT licence.
        • Health & Safety training.
        • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
