We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Production & Material Planner to join a busy and growing manufacturing business in Worcester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planner looking to join a fast-paced environment with long-term career prospects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning production schedules, managing material supply, and ensuring stock levels are maintained to support customer demand and business targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and manage daily and weekly production plans
• Coordinate material and stock requirements to support production
• Monitor inventory levels and investigate stock discrepancies
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time
• Use ERP/MRP systems to manage planning and stock control
• Support purchasing activities and supplier performance monitoring
• Maintain accurate planning and stock records
• Liaise with production, warehouse, and commercial teams to ensure smooth operations
• Prepare and present planning KPI reports when required
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain roles
• Experience within manufacturing or FMCG environments preferred
• Good understanding of MRP/ERP systems
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
