Luma Education Recruitment is seeking a passionate Secondary Teacher to join a supportive school.
Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties, using differentiated teaching strategies to promote engagement and progress.
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils
Maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom that promotes learning and positive behaviour
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development across the school day
Adapt to school policies, routines, and individual pupil needs
Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and wider school staff to support pupil outcomes
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training with QTS pending
Applications welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) required prior to starting
