With the forthcoming retirement of our current Foodbank Manager, Hinckley Christian Community Action and Hinckley Area Foodbank are excited to offer the opportunity to join us as our next Foodbank Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong project management experience and a passion for supporting people in crisis. You will oversee the day-to-day running of the Foodbank, ensure high quality service delivery, and help drive sustainable growth as we continue to expand our work in the community.
This role requires someone confident in front-of-house client work; and familiarity with Foodbank operations is desirable.
About you:
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience running projects
Ability to nurture and lead a dedicated team of staff and volunteers
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Confidence presenting to large groups
About the Role:
The Foodbank Manager will:
Lead the operational management of the Foodbank
Support and develop a dedicated team of staff and volunteers
Build strong relationships with clients, referral partners, churches, and community groups
Represent the Foodbank through presentations, events, and community engagement
Contribute to the spiritual life of the organisation, including leading prayer at management meetings, along with Clients and /or volunteers in a pastoral role where appropriate.
Occupational Requirement
As part of our Christian organisation, the post carries an Occupational Requirement for the successful candidate to be a practising Christian committed to the ethos of the charity.

Hours of work 20hrs / week
Salary £17.85 per hour, paid monthly
Employer's Pension contribution 5%
Mileage allowance 45p/mile
