Hours: 40 Hrs. Full Time - 3 shift system (Morning - 6am-2pm ( Mon-Friday), Afternoon 2pm - 10pm ( Monday to Thurs then Friday 10am - 6pm), Nights 10pm-6am ( Monday till Friday morning 6am))
Location: Coleshill, Birmingham

We're looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - Electrical Engineer Bias who will work with a range of Mitie clients to conduct work that provides a multi-skilled maintenance service across electrical and mechanical disciplines within an operational environment.
Role Responsibilities:• Complete electrical installations and assist tradespeople with wiring, calibration, and alignment tasks• Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs, and updates to maintenance work orders• Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant to optimise reliability and maintainability• Follow lockout/tagout procedures—no live working permitted, ensuring a safe working environment• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, attend toolbox talks, and liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required
Required Qualifications:• Qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations• Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, and controls• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and procedures• Self-motivated, well-organised, and eager to learn• Respectful, professional, and confident in raising safety concerns
