Summary
The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with a respected client based in Newport. This role offers regular, ongoing work with consistent start times. You'll be part of a reliable transport operation, helping to ensure goods are moved safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating a Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle
- Completing scheduled deliveries and collections
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
- Conducting pre-use vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Completing relevant paperwork accurately
- Following all driver hours and road safety regulations
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Previous HGV driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of driver regulations
- Dependable and professional approach
- Strong communication skills
