Summary
Summary
Registered Nurses are required for day and night roles within a specialist care service supporting adults with learning disabilities. You will deliver person-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Overview
Pay rate: £19.38 per hour. Equivalent annual salary: £36,297 (36 hours ночs) and £37,791 (37.5 hours days).
Onsite role. Fully remote working is not available.
Night Nurses – 3 nights per week (8:00pm – 8:15am).
Day Nurse – 37.5 hours per week (8:00am – 8:30pm).
Eligibility:
Active NMC registration (RGN).
6–12 months post-registration experience required.
Minimum 6 months experience within a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities environment.
Completion of preceptorship programme.
Right to Work in the UK is required. Sponsorship is not specified.
What you’ll do
• Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework
• Assess, plan and deliver nursing care with patients and their families
• Act as named nurse for allocated patients
• Monitor and review care plans and patient progress
• Observe, assess and respond to changes in patient condition
• Support a multidisciplinary approach to care delivery
• Manage and prioritise nursing duties within the shift
• Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
• Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings
• Adhere to safeguarding, medication, and professional standards
What you’ll need
• Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification
• Active NMC registration
• Completed preceptorship programme
• 6–12 months post-registration experience
• Experience in mental health or learning disability settings
• Knowledge of NMC standards and professional practice
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work flexibly within a shift-based environment
• Resilient, professional and patient-focused approach
