Summary

About Us:
Herbert & Crown Ltd is a premier, tech-enabled building services coordinator operating across all London zones (North, South, East, West, and Central London). We manage extensive residential and commercial property maintenance portfolios, connecting certified and highly skilled field professionals with consistent, localised work streams.

The Role:
We are shortlisting independent, mobile Field Service Engineers (Subcontractors) specialising in facilities maintenance and mechanical/electrical property services.

We do things differently. Instead of sending you on long, unpaid drives across London, we use smart scheduling and live tracking to send you jobs right where you already are. We handle all the client bookings, paperwork, and invoicing for you. That means you spend less time sitting in traffic or chasing payments, and more time earning on the tools. We boast in our excellent rates and increases with time.

What We Offer:
- Consistent, recurring streams of high-quality residential and commercial maintenance work.
- Real-time tech deployment and optimised route planning tailored to your base location.
- Highly competitive commercial rates and reliable, prompt payment structures.
- Full administrative, client acquisition, and booking support from our coordination hub.

Mandatory Compliance & Requirements:
To be onboarded into our network, you must operate an independent mobile setup and possess the verified qualifications to legally execute and certify works in your specific trade pathway:

- Gas Safe Engineers: Must hold active Gas Safe Registration with valid CCN1 + CENWAT.

- Electrical Engineers: Must hold City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent), 18th Edition Amendment 4 (BS 7671:2018+A4:2026), and a Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391) with active NICEIC or NAPIT membership.

- Plumbers: Must hold City & Guilds Level 2/3 NVQ and a valid G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems certificate.

- Fire Safety / HVAC / Multi-Trade Professionals: Must hold corresponding statutory credentials (e.g., BAFE, F-Gas Category 1/REFCOM, BM TRADA/FIRAS) matching UK regulatory compliance.

- Handymen/ Carpenters: Must be killed in your craft and hold an excellent track record of previous work.

General Requirements:
- Must own a vehicle, comprehensive tools, a smartphone for live job routing, and full PPE.
- Must hold valid Public Liability Insurance (Minimum £2,000,000).
- Exceptional finishing standards, reliability, and professional customer communication.

How to Apply:
If you are a high-integrity, independent trade professional looking to secure steady contract work without the administrative headaches, please submit your application. Please state your primary trade specialisation and your base London borough in your response.
