English Teacher (QTS / Instructor)
Location: Leicester
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Until May Half Term (with potential extension to the end of the academic year)
Link3 Recruitment are seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher (QTS or experienced Instructor) to join a secondary school in Leicester on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled English specialist looking for an immediate start, with the possibility of continuing through to the end of the academic year.
The Role:
• Teaching English from Year 7 to Year 12
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and supporting student progress
• Working collaboratively within the English department and wider school team
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a strong English Instructor background
• English as a specialism
• Previous experience teaching across secondary schools
• Experience teaching a range of key stages (KS3–KS5)
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
• A professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
• A valid Right to Work in the UK (verified as part of our safeguarding checks)
• An Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) or registration on the Update Service
• Minimum GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) for roles below Cover Supervisor level, with evidence provided
