We are currently recruiting a Class 2 (Category C) Driver for a temp to perm position based in Accrington, offering consistent work and a clear route to a permanent role.
Pay & Benefits- £12.75 per hour
- £25.50 per hour (double time) for:
- Sundays
- Bank Holidays
- Any hours worked between 00:00 - 04:00 (unsociable hours)
- £30 night out allowance
- Temp to Perm - 14 weeks
- Opportunity to move onto a permanent contract after 14 weeks
- Class 2 driving work
- Mixture of local and regional deliveries
- Heavy involvement in loading and unloading (handball required)
- Physically demanding role
- Potential for night out work
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and efficiently
- Completing PODs and paperwork accurately
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Comfortable with heavy manual handling (handball)
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD
- Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
