Summary
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Hire Desk professional to join our established sales team of Hire Managers based in Sheffield.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their career within a growing and successful business. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organised, customer focused and driven to progress.
The Role
As part of our hire team you will play a key role in supporting customers and driving business growth through effective management of hire enquiries and relationships. Responsibilities will include:
• Handling customer hire enquiries and converting opportunities into business
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Managing quotations, orders and hire administration
• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Working towards team and individual performance targets
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times
What We Are Looking For
• Previous hire desk or rental industry experience preferred
• Experience within the hire sector is a major advantage, although experience does not need to be specifically within the access rental industry
• Experience using hire software systems is highly desirable
• SYRINX experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive attitude with ambition for career progression
• Ability to work independently and as part of a successful team
