Class 1 Tramper Driver - Temp to Perm
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Class 1 Tramper Drivers on behalf of a highly respected, family-owned business. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Potential earnings:
Based on a 60-hour working week, the potential earnings would be:- 45 hours @ £16.54 = £744.30
- 10 hours @ £20.68 = £206.80
- 6 hours @ £24.81 = £148.86
- Night out = £100 (4 x £25)
Role Overview:
You will be driving Class 1 bulk tipper vehicles, transporting recycled materials nationwide between company sites and customer locations. The role includes up to 4 nights of tramping per week, so flexibility is essential.
Fleet:
Modern tipper vehicles including Scania, Volvo, and DAF, fully equipped with microwaves and fridges for driver comfort.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Minimum of 1 year's Class 1 driving experience
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
