Summary
We are a precision engineering company committed to delivering high-quality components and excellent customer support. We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Operative to join our team in Wishaw.
This role is critical to maintaining the high standards our customers expect. You will be responsible for inspecting components throughout production and at final stage, ensuring all products meet strict quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out routine and final inspection of precision-engineered components
• Ensure all products meet required quality standards and specifications
• Identify and report any defects or non-conformances
• Compile and maintain First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
• Accurately record inspection results and maintain documentation
• Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues
• Support continuous improvement and uphold company quality procedures
Requirements
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to follow inspection procedures and technical specifications
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Reliable, organised, and proactive approach to work
Training & Development
Full training will be provided for the right candidate, including support in developing inspection skills and understanding quality standards within a precision engineering environment.
Working Hours:
Hours will typically fall within our day shift operating schedule. We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants; however, working patterns will be agreed based on business needs.
