As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be a key member of our client's pastoral care team, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored strategies to address individual students' behavioural needs. Your expertise in communication, conflict resolution, and positive behaviour management will be instrumental in helping students navigate the challenges they face, both academically and socially.

We are seeking an individual who possesses a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, as well as a genuine passion for empowering young people to reach their full potential. You will be a confident and empathetic communicator, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students who are experiencing behavioural difficulties, working closely with them to identify the root causes and develop strategies for improvement.
- Collaborating with teachers to create and implement behaviour management plans that address individual student needs, ensuring a consistent and effective approach across the school.
- Monitoring and tracking student behaviour, maintaining detailed records and reporting on progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Organising and facilitating group sessions, workshops, and counselling to help students develop social-emotional skills, self-regulation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Acting as a role model and mentor for students, demonstrating positive behaviour and conflict resolution techniques.
- Liaising with parents, carers, and other external agencies to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to supporting students.
- Contributing to the development and review of the school's behaviour and pastoral care policies and procedures.
- Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of behaviour management.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a field such as education, psychology, or social work.
- Substantial experience working with children and young people in a school or similar educational setting, with a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to tailor your support to the unique needs of each student.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in behaviour management.

If you are an experienced Behaviour Mentor who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Join our client's dedicated team and be a part of shaping the futures of the students in our care.
