Soft Play Attendant
(Soft Play & Family Entertainment Centre)
We are currently seeking an energetic, responsible, and customer-focused Soft Play Attendant to join our team within a busy family entertainment and soft play environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising play areas, ensuring child safety, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the smooth daily operation of the centre.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
*Supervising children and families within the soft play areas
*Ensuring all play equipment and activity areas are used safely and appropriately
*Monitoring customer behaviour and reporting any safety concerns or incidents
*Providing excellent customer service and assisting visitors where required
*Supporting daily opening and closing procedures
*Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the centre
*Assisting with birthday parties, events, and customer activities
*Carrying out regular safety and cleanliness checks within the play areas
*Ensuring company policies, safeguarding procedures, and operational standards are followed at all times
*Supporting café, reception, or operational staff during busy periods where required
*Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or operational concerns to management promptly
*Requirements
*Friendly, energetic, and professional attitude
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Ability to work in a fast-paced family environment
*Reliable, punctual, and responsible
*Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
*Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and school holidays
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable
*Previous experience within soft play, leisure, childcare, hospitality, or customer service environments
*Basic understanding of safeguarding and health & safety procedures
*First aid knowledge is advantageous
