What the role involves:
Supervising classes using pre-set lesson plans and materials
Ensuring students remain on task and complete assigned work
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
Providing guidance and support to pupils where required
Reporting back to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour
Supporting the wider school team throughout the school day
What you’ll need:
Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
Confidence managing classroom behaviour and maintaining structure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Good organisational skills and reliability
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
