Family Supervision Worker
Location: Sunderland
Pay: £15.50 - £20 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
⏱ Shift Patterns: 8am-8pm (Day) | 8pm-8am (Night) | 8am-11pm + Sleep-in
As a Family Supervision Worker, you will play a vital role in facilitating safe, structured contact between children and their families. You will help ensure that all interactions take place in a positive, supportive, and secure environment, promoting the wellbeing of everyone involved.
- Promote safe, healthy, and positive interactions between children and parents
- Encourage appropriate routines, boundaries, and effective communication
- Produce clear, accurate, and objective contact reports and observations
- Support children's emotional wellbeing throughout each session
- Maintain professional, respectful, and non-judgemental relationships with families
- Ensure all sessions are well-managed, structured, and conducted safely
- Mileage reimbursement for every shift
- Fully funded training, including TMVA
- Flexible shift patterns to suit your availability

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Emotional resilience and confidence in managing challenging situations
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when completing reports
- Experience within social care, family support, or children's services
- Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent) - desirable
- A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous due to travel between locations
