HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver – Ongoing Work – Preston (PR3)
Pay: £15.25 - £16.50 per hour depending on experience
Overview
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing tipper work based in the Preston area.
This is consistent, long-term work within construction and bulk materials. Suitable for drivers looking for steady hours and regular work Monday to Friday.
The Role
You will be operating 8-wheeler tipper vehicles transporting aggregates and bulk materials between construction and commercial sites.
Work is straightforward site-to-site driving with clear instructions and planned routes.
Working Pattern
Monday to Friday with some nights out required
Early starts, steady daytime hours
Occasional weekend work
Ongoing full-time work
Key Duties
Driving Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and professionally
Delivering and collecting materials between sites
Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
Following site rules and health & safety procedures
Completing basic paperwork
Requirements
HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Experience in Class 2 driving preferred
Tip / bulk / construction experience desirable but not essential
Reliable and safety-focused attitude
