About the Role

We are recruiting for a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a progressive, patient-focused GP practice in Coventry. The successful candidate will work independently, undertaking clinical assessment, diagnostics, treatment, and evaluation, while contributing to the wider multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with undifferentiated conditions
  • Manage acute, urgent, and chronic presentations within scope of practice
  • Undertake clinical examinations, prescribe independently, and request/interpret diagnostic investigations
  • Provide high-quality consultations via face-to-face, telephone, and digital platforms
  • Support long-term condition management and personalised care planning
  • Contribute to QOF and practice performance
  • Maintain accurate, concise clinical documentation in line with professional and practice standards
  • Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and service development
    Essential Requirements
    • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
    • MSc/PG Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent experience
    • Independent Prescriber (V300)
    • Proven experience working autonomously in a primary care or urgent care environment
    • Strong clinical decision-making, diagnostic, and communication skills
    • Ability to work confidently within a multidisciplinary team
      Desirable Experience
      • Experience with EMIS Web or other primary care clinical systems
      • Background in chronic disease management
      • Evidence of ongoing professional development
