About the Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as plant production workers in our busy glasshouse facility in Kilsyth. This role involves supporting the cultivation, care, and preparation of a wide variety of plants, ensuring high standards of quality and productivity are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Planting, potting, and watering a range of crops
- Monitoring plant health and reporting any issues
- Assisting with pruning, spacing, and general plant maintenance
- Preparing orders for dispatch, including packing and labelling
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the glasshouse
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in horticulture or agricultural work is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, bending)
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends during peak seasons
