Fixed Term – 1-year Temporary Contract
Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Attendance Administrative Assistant. This is a key position within the academy, supporting our commitment to excellent attendance and the safeguarding of all students.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Administrative Team, under the direction of the Attendance and Welfare Lead, providing essential support to Attendance Improvement Officers. The role involves monitoring and maintaining accurate attendance records, following up on unexplained absences, liaising with staff and parents/carers, and contributing to strategies that improve student attendance and engagement.
Potential applicants should:
• Hold GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English.
• Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with staff, students and parents/carers.
• Be proactive, able to use their own initiative, and work effectively as part of a team.
