Summary
The successful candidate will: Provide high-quality, patient-centred care through face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations. Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in line with current clinical guidelines and best practice. Undertake routine health reviews, preventative care, and health promotion activities. Prescribe medications safely and appropriately within practice and national prescribing policies. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records using the EMIS clinical system. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary practice team, including nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff. Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or internally referred within the practice. Participate in practice meetings, clinical governance, and quality improvement activities. Manage referrals, investigations, results, and follow-up care in a timely manner. Support safeguarding responsibilities for children and vulnerable adults. Maintain professional development and comply with GMC appraisal and revalidation requirements.
