Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for one full time Performance Assistant to support the Head of Performance in providing an effective performance function across the Group.

This role will include supporting the Group to fulfil its responsibilities in relation to improvement of Elective Care Standards.

There will be a particular emphasis on this role to support the Referral to Treatment target in relation to pathway validation, data accuracy and management of data quality reports. The applicant should have excellent working knowledge of Referral to Treatment rules and the ability to interrogate data.

The post holder will support the Head of Performance to provide an effective performance function across the Group. This role will include supporting the Group to fulfil its responsibilities in relation to improvement of Elective Care Standards. There will be a particular emphasis on this role to support the Referral to Treatment target.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, carers, clinicians and managers and all other staff working internally and externally to the Group:

· Ensure and maintain confidentiality at all times

· Ensuring during any communication that you remain compliant with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018

· Excellent communicator with excellent written and keyboard skills, good attention to detail with accurate data entry.

· Required to be proactive and able to work on own initiative

· To be responsible for, lead and support staff within your area of responsibility

Key Working Relationships

· Be able to develop effective working relationships with clinical staff and managers, both internally and externally

· Ability to use initiative when dealing with people to resolve issues to the benefit of patients, staff and the organisation.

· Liaise with internal and external bodies to arrange meetings and events for the department as required

· To maintain confidentiality at all times with regard to patient information.
