Transport Supervisor – Full TimeSalary: £38,500 – £39,500 per yearTTP OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for an experienced and hands-on Transport Supervisor to join a busy logistics operation with Heygates Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous transport or logistics supervisory experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and leading from the front.This role requires a proactive individual who is happy to combine office-based transport planning with hands-on yard supervision, including overseeing the loading and unloading of vehicles and assisting with general yard duties.Shift PatternRotating shifts:Week 1: 5:00am – 2:00pmWeek 2: 10:00am – 7:30pm50.5 hours per weekSaturday and Sunday half days every other weekendKey ResponsibilitiesSupervising day-to-day transport operationsCoordinating logistics activities, route planning, and schedulingEnsuring deliveries are completed efficiently and on timeSupervising loading and unloading of vehiclesCarrying out additional yard duties where requiredMaintaining excellent customer service standardsManaging transport records and documentation using Excel and OutlookCommunicating effectively with drivers, customers, suppliers, and internal teamsEnsuring compliance with transport regulations and company proceduresRequirementsPrevious supervisory experience within transport or logisticsStrong communication and organisational skillsGood computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and OutlookAbility to work well under pressure in a busy environmentHands-on attitude with strong leadership qualitiesProactive and solutions-focused approachBenefitsCompany pensionCycle to work schemeOn-site parkingSick payThis is a fantastic TTP opportunity for an experienced Transport Supervisor looking for a long-term position within a well-established company.
