Supporting hygiene and toileting needs, including daily strip washes
Assisting with mobility around the home and rise and fall calls
Undertaking household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
Providing friendly companionship and emotional support

Age: 79
Medical conditions: Dementia and stroke
Health needs: The client uses a walking frame indoors and a manual wheelchair for outdoor mobility. They have bowel incontinence and require catheter management. Daily personal care includes strip washes while seated on a commode. The client is reasonably capable despite mobility limitations.
Living situation: The client sleeps downstairs due to difficulties with stairs. Family members provide overnight care to ensure the client is never alone.
Work environment
The client's home is smoke-free and pet-free. A vehicle and driving ability would be helpful but are not essential.
Working pattern
15-20 hours per week, comprising:
Rise and fall calls (morning around 7am and evening around 8pm)
Approximately 3 hours on weekends (2-5pm), with flexibility to expand if suitable
Requirements

Fluent English speaker
Experience in care work (formal certification is not essential)
