As an Administrator within our Employment, Skills and Training (EST) business, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Restart Contract. You’ll provide high‑quality customer service and administrative support to the Operations Team, while also supporting Restart participants where appropriate.
This is a busy and varied role, ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a professional, customer‑focused approach. You’ll work closely with colleagues to meet tight deadlines and ensure a consistently high standard of service.

What you’ll do as an Administrator
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Deliver consistently high levels of customer service when communicating with learners, participants and the operations team.
- Manage reception duties, ensuring all visitors are greeted professionally and courteously.
- Manage petty cash and process reimbursement of participant expenses.
- Conduct warm handover calls where required.
- Order office supplies and support facilities management activities.
- Contribute to Business Continuity Planning activities.
- Source and book rooms for face‑to‑face delivery of sessions and events.
- Monitor shared inboxes, responding to or escalating queries as appropriate.
- Answer telephone enquiries from learners, participants and customers, escalating where necessary.
- Support general team responsibilities including health and safety, office management, archiving and SMS processes.
- Undertake other reasonable duties aligned to the level of the role.



You may also be required to:

- Download, log and acknowledge programme application forms.
- Book tutors and coordinate learning materials to support delivery.
- Confirm programme and session dates with learners.
- Register learners with awarding organisations as required.
- Work collaboratively with partner organisations.
- Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Book external examinations online where relevant.
- Update participant and learner data accurately across IT systems.
- Support marking, moderation and certification processes.

- Strong IT capability, including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience delivering high‑quality customer service in a busy environment.
- The ability to learn new systems quickly and accurately.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The confidence to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible and proactive approach to managing workload and deadlines.
- A professional, approachable manner at all times.
