I’m working with a global leader who are looking to hire an Account Handler / Client Advisor to join their Birmingham team.
As one of the worlds largest insurance brokers you will be joining a business who can offer multiple opportunities for your career moving forward. My client tells me that they are looking for a candidate with the best client relationship management skills, someone with cross class technical commercial insurance knowledge (Property, Casualty, Liability).
In their words “preferably we’re looking for someone who has corporate/global experience, can manage a client book of £350k income and can hit the ground running” although I have been told they will also consider an “up and comer” someone who is ready to deal with more complex corporate cases and who is looking to move from an independent to a global insurance broker.
Benefits include;
- Base salary competative (dependant on experience)
- Up to 16% Pension (4% from you, 12% from the employer)
- Agile working – 3 days in the office, 2 from home (there is flex on this for those with commitments)
- 27 days annual leave (plus option to buy more)
- Private medical cover from day one

- Generous Family Leave including: 6 months paid maternity leave, 4 months paid paternity leave, 6 months paid adoption leave plus shared parental leave options. To help ease the transition when you return to work you will be able to work 8 weeks at 80% of your normal work pattern and receive 100% of your normal salary.
