HGV – Barnsley
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to support operations for Company Shop Group based in Barnsley (S75 3DH) on an adhoc agency basis.
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, with shifts available throughout the week including weekends.
Pay Rates
Monday to Friday (4:00am – 1:00pm): £17.25 per hour
Monday to Friday (before 4:00am & after 1:00pm): £19.25 per hour
Saturday: £20.25 per hour
Sunday: £23.25 per hour
Shift Patterns
Adhoc agency work
Shifts available Monday to Sunday
Start times ranging from 03:00am to 10:30pm
Flexible working patterns available
Duties Include
Delivering goods safely and efficiently
Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork
Ensuring compliance with driver hours and tachograph regulations
Maintaining excellent customer service standards
Supporting depot operations when required
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence
Valid CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
Previous driving experience preferred
Reliable and flexible approach to work
