We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Child Health team as a Ward Clerk.
As a Ward Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of the Children’s Wards by carrying out a range of clerical and reception-based duties. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary clinical team, providing essential administrative support and acting as a first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, responding to enquiries with sensitivity and professionalism.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role within a busy hospital environment, offering the opportunity to make a real difference to the experience of children and their families during their hospital stay.
In addition to supporting the Children’s Wards, you will also provide clerical support across the wider Child Health Department. The duties of this role include being a first point of contact for patients and visitors to the ward, undertaking Clerical tasks, organising transport for patients ordering supplies and eventually helping to develop new or less experienced staff.
