We are looking for a compassionate and dependable SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across schools in the Skelmersdale area. This role is particularly suited to individuals with hands-on experience in care settings who are confident providing personal care and supporting complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Support students with complex needs within the classroom environment
- Assist with personal care where required
- Promote independence, engagement, and positive behaviour
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support learning and development
Role Details
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Term time only
- £109 per day
About You
- Experience in care work, support work, or a similar setting
- Personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs (desirable)
- Comfortable providing personal care
- Patient, resilient, and adaptable
- Passionate about making a meaningful difference in children's lives
