Sous Chef – Immediate Start
Newark
Monday to Friday | 7:00am – 2:30pm (times may vary)
We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Sous Chef to join a busy kitchen team for an immediate start in Newark.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is happy to support all areas of the kitchen. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality food service while helping maintain excellent kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
• Preparing and cooking fresh meals to a high standard
• Assisting with food prep and service during busy periods
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen
• Helping with pot wash and general kitchen duties when required
• Ensuring food safety and health & safety standards are followed
What We’re Looking For
• Previous Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie experience
• Positive attitude and strong team ethic
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Flexible and willing to muck in where needed
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Food hygiene knowledge essential
