Key Responsibilities and Duties Personal Care: Assisting with washing, bathing, showering, oral hygiene, dressing, and toilet assistance.Medication Management: Assisting with or administering prescribed medications.Household Support: Cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, bed-making, and disposing of waste.Nutritional Care: Preparing snacks and meals, following dietary requirements, and assisting with feeding.Social & Emotional Support: Providing companionship, combating loneliness, and enabling social activities.Mobility Assistance: Helping with movement within the home and using mobility aids (e.g., hoists).Community Support: Shopping for food, collecting prescriptions, and accompanying to appointments.Monitoring & Recording: Reporting any significant changes in a client's physical or mental condition to supervisors.Essential Requirements skills: Compassion, empathy, patience, good communication, and reliability.Flexibility: Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.Qualifications: While experience is valued, many roles provide training.
