Team Leader – Adult Supported Living (Maternity Cover)

East Dunbartonshire ¦ 12‑months ¦ 39 hours per week

Quarriers is recruiting a Team Leader to join our Adult Supported Living services across East Dunbartonshire, covering a period of maternity leave. This is a full‑time 39‑hour per week role, which includes weekend working and participation in an on‑call rota across East Dunbartonshire services.

Due to the geographical spread of our services, a driving licence and access to transport is preferred.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a fast‑paced, rewarding environment where no two days are the same. As Team Leader, you will support the Project Manager in the delivery and ongoing development of high‑quality services and will play a key role in ensuring people receive excellent, person‑centred care.

You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day supervision of Support Workers and Relief Support Workers, supporting staff performance, rota management, and the smooth running of services.

The role is well suited to someone who enjoys working on their own initiative, is confident using rostering systems and strong IT and organisational skills.

About the Service

Quarriers’ East Dunbartonshire services support adults with learning and physical disabilities, as well as individuals affected by acquired brain injuries. Our focus is on supporting people to live fulfilling lives in their own homes and communities, with support tailored to individual needs, goals, and aspirations.

What we’re looking for

  • Compassionate, kind, and genuinely person‑centred
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, and self‑motivated
  • Able to problem‑solve and achieve positive outcomes
  • Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills
  • Previous supervisory or management experience (desirable)
  • Confident working independently in a busy, changing environment

Our East Dunbartonshire team is supportive, enthusiastic, and always willing to go the extra mile for each other – and for the people we support.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to step up, grow your leadership skills, and develop your career within Quarriers – don’t miss out!
