They have a five-year plan to get up to around 650 units, and you’d join the business on their Shrewsbury site which was around 45 units out of around 100 left to build. You’d join a young Site Manager who has been in the business 10 years and worked his way up through the ranks from a Trainee – a perfect person to learn off who knows the company inside out.
And they’ll pay you really well for that, too. I’ve got a salary banding of up to £45,000 plus benefits for the right person – obviously at that top end you’d hit the ground running, have had experience working for a large housebuilder already and have a proven track record of producing quality houses. In addition, you’ll be working with a construction team that has around 75 years’ experience working within this business – what did I say about their excellent retention?
