Teaching & Training The successful applicant would be expected to have an active interest in the areas of both teaching and research. Our junior anaesthetic training has recently been adapted to reflect the new RCOA Anaesthesia curriculum. Due to the number of specialties covered at the Trust, we can deliver most of the curriculum across our four sites except advanced paediatric cases. We have therefore recently invited applications for trainees wishing to pursue a CESR pathway. Training is coordinated by the specialty education leads but involves informal and formal teaching by all consultants. There is also a departmental programme of teaching mapped to RCOA examination requirements which is co-ordinated by the junior anaesthetic staff with support from consultants.
