Summary

Job Title: Practitioner – St Ninian's Kids Club
Location: EH7 6JA
Hours: Term-time after school hours

Monday to Thursday: 2.40 pm – 5.30 pm
Friday: 11.45 am – 5.30 pm
Salary: £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you a creative, enthusiastic, and reliable individual who loves working with children? We are looking for a motivated Practitioner to join our after school club team, supporting children aged 4 to 12 years in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment.
Key Responsibilities: Working under the guidance of the Manager, the successful candidate will:

Provide Care: Create a nurturing environment where children can enjoy a range of play, learning, and leisure activities.

Plan Activities: Organise daily routines and engaging activities that cater to the emotional, social, physical, and intellectual needs of the children.

Collaborate: Work in partnership with parents, carers, and professionals to support the wellbeing of the children.

Team Contribution: Actively contribute to the smooth running of the club as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Essential Qualifications: SVQ Level 3/HNC or higher in Childcare Practice (or equivalent). At least one year's experience in a childcare setting.

Registration: Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and membership in the PVG scheme are required. (If successful, the first year's PVG membership will be paid by the club.)
