We’re looking for a Senior Strategy Lead to join our Group Corporate Planning team at a pivotal time in our transformation. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the Skipton Group, helping shape long term direction, develop strategic options, and influence decisions that impact millions of customers.

About the Role

As Senior Strategy Lead, you will play a central role in the Group’s strategy function, turning analysis into meaningful insight. You will translate complexity into clarity, producing high quality insights, modelling, deep dives, and strategic options that support confident decision making at Executive Committee level.

You will:

  • Lead deep market, regulatory, and competitor insight work
  • Develop strategic options supported by scenario modelling and data led analysis
  • Shape strategic narratives and create compelling papersfor ExCo and Board audiences
  • Conduct forward looking analysis to support foresight and horizon scanning
  • Play a key role in the corporate planning cycle, ensuring alignment between insight, strategy, and execution

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in strategy, consulting, insight, or corporate development
  • Strong analytical capability, including scenario modelling and synthesis
  • Ability to develop structured, persuasive strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and clearly framing complex issues
  • A curious, innovative mindset, with confidence to challenge assumptions
