Under the direction of the Ward manager is responsible for providing skilled Nursing care within a multidisciplinary environment, to ensure individualised and effective care is practiced. Contributing to the continuity of good team spirit and high standards of nursing care over a period of duty. Acts as a resource within the speciality of Trauma and Orthopaedics. Empowering junior staff to develop the highest possible levels of clinical skills and facilitates communication within all care groups. Utilising the wards resources to promote excellence in practice and promotes and expedites quality issues relevant to the service delivery.
