Care and Compliance Manager

Up to £60,000 per annum + Car Allowance | Full-Time | South West Region

If you're a nurse-qualified manager with a strong grasp of CQC compliance and a track record in nursing home leadership, our client has a role that's worth your attention. As Care and Compliance Manager for the South West region, you'll be the driving force behind quality and compliance across a portfolio of homes - conducting audits, developing improvement plans, shaping policy, and supporting home-based teams to deliver care at the highest standard.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current, valid NMC PIN - essential

  • Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager or in a similar compliance, quality, or regional role - essential

  • Strong, working knowledge of CQC standards, regulations, and inspection processes

  • Experience conducting audits and developing improvement plans within a care setting

  • Confident working independently across a regional patch with minimal day-to-day supervision

  • Full driving licence - essential for this field-based role

What's on Offer

  • Up to £60,000 per annum

  • Car allowance

  • Company pension scheme

  • Training & development opportunities

  • Wellbeing programme & support

  • Company events

  • Benefits & rewards portal

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting regular clinical and compliance audits across homes in the South West region

  • Developing clear, actionable improvement plans following audits and monitoring progress to completion

  • Supporting homes in preparing for and responding to CQC inspections

  • Developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice

  • Identifying areas of risk and working proactively with home-based teams to address them

  • Providing guidance, support, and challenge to Home Managers on clinical and compliance matters

  • Monitoring and reporting on quality metrics across the region, escalating concerns to senior leadership as required

  • Keeping up to date with changes in CQC regulation, legislation, and sector best practice

How to Apply

If you are a nurse-qualified manager with strong CQC knowledge and the regional compliance experience to make a real difference across the South West, we'd love to hear from you. Please apply with your up-to-date CV and a member of our team will be in touch confidentially.
