Summary

We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Asbestos Removal Operatives to join our growing team, operating from our Wakefield office. This role involves working across various domestic and commercial sites, primarily across the Leeds area and the wider Yorkshire region.

Flexibility is essential, as some projects may require work outside of standard hours.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), adhering strictly to health and safety regulations and the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely carry out asbestos removal operations in line with site-specific RAMS.

Prepare and secure work areas, including setting up enclosures and decontamination units.

Implement dust suppression techniques and monitor levels.

Perform decontamination procedures for equipment and personnel.

Conduct daily RPE checks and ensure PPE is in working condition.

Submit accurate job documentation, including Hazardous Waste Notes and Statements of Completion.

Maintain and present up-to-date training records and certifications for inspection.

Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

Essential Requirements:

Up-to-date asbestos training and relevant qualifications such as:

CSCS Card (Blue card preferred).
NVQ Level 2/3 in related field (desirable).
Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
DBS Check (required due to safeguarding requirements).
Current Face Fit Test and Asbestos Medical certification.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week
50 hours a week available on a certain projects.
Overtime may be required depending on project needs
Primarily on-site work
