Healthcare Support Worker - Band 3 - 36 hrs per week - Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are currently looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual to join the Acute Frailty Hub within the Intermediate Tier Service Division as a Healthcare Assistant.

Under the direction of the Sister/Charge Nurse you will help us to ensure that we provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our patients.

Applicants should be excellent communicators and have a positive approach to patient care. A polite and courteous manner towards patients and relatives will be essential for this role, together with your ability to work under pressure, as part of a team as well as organising your own workload.

Previous hospital experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided to ensure you have the skills required to fulfil the position.
Main duties of the job

The post holder will work under the direct supervision of a registered health care professional and be responsible for providing personal care for patients and a range of clinical duties/ tasks, always ensuring that actions are undertaken by the individual following appropriate training and within their sphere of competence. Provide training, direction, and supervision to junior staff.
