We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 Moffett Driver for our client based in Andover, Hampshire

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all road safety regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers specialising in commercial driving and flatbed operations to contribute to our company's efficient distribution network.

Duties

Operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with company policies and road safety laws
Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods to clients and distribution centres
Secure cargo properly on flatbeds, ensuring safe transit and compliance with weight limits
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or damages
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in line with legal requirements
Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transit
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including load securement and vehicle maintenance protocols
Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed
Requirements

Valid UK driving licence suitable for operating large goods vehicles (LGV) or HGV licence as required by the role
Valid CPC Card
Valid Digi Tacho Card
Valid Moffett Entitlement
No more than 6 Penalty Points
Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK
Ability to operate flatbed lorries confidently and safely
Good communication skills for liaising with clients and dispatch teams
Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks when necessary
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
