Crynodeb
Support the delivery of financial balance across the Health Board through cost reduction schemes, improved resource use and financial monitoring. Provide detailed financial analysis, projections and modelling to support decisionmaking, service development and business case preparation. Communicate complex and sensitive financial information clearly to clinical and managerial stakeholders, using negotiation and influence. Provide finance input into service planning, NHS target delivery and significant clinical practice changes, ensuring financial implications are robustly assessed. Support commissioning processes, including financial advice on service delivery, liaison with LHBs, Welsh Government, WHSSC and other NHS organisations. Assist with Service Level Agreements, ensuring full cost recovery and accurate contract performance monitoring. Support maintenance of financial governance, including general ledger integrity, debtor/creditor control, stock reconciliation and income recovery. Assist with yearend accounts, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with policy and adherence to Standing Financial Instructions.
