An exciting opportunity has arisen for aregistered Pharmacy Technicianto join our friendly, dedicated, and well‑established team atRoyal Derby Hospital. Our Acute Medicine Team includes experienced Pharmacists and Medicines Management Technicians who work collaboratively to deliver high‑quality care.
You will work closely with a range of healthcare professionals to provide ward‑based medicines management and optimisation. This includes medicines reconciliation, patient counselling, and supporting the safe, timely preparation of discharge medicines. If you’re passionate about improving patient experience and enjoy working in a fast‑paced clinical environment, we’d love to hear from you.

It is essential for the candidate to be driven and able to cope with the pace and demands that a busy acute medicine service presents.
The team supports personal development and recognises the importance of a work-life balance. The role consists of shift-working hours including evenings and weekend commitment.
