Are you an inspiring KS2 Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming and well-supported primary school?

TeacherActive is currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a well-established primary school in Oldbury for a full-time maternity cover role starting in September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a positive and collaborative school community, teaching a lovely Year 4 class and making a meaningful impact throughout the academic year. The role is expected to continue until July 2027, with the possibility of extension depending on the school’s needs.

    About the Role

    As the KS2 Teacher, you will:

    • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
    • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children can thrive
    • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing effective feedback and support
    • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity for pupils
    • Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and promote a love of learning

      ✅ What We’re Looking For

      We are seeking a teacher who:

      • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
      • Has recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
      • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
      • Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
      • Is adaptable, proactive, and confident in a temporary role
      • Can commit to the full duration of the maternity cover
