What skills and experience we're looking for
We wish to appoint an Early Career Teacher with a passion for teaching and learning to join our forward-thinking team. Chorlton Park is a happy and inclusive inner-city school with high aspirations for all our children. We are part of the CLIC Co-operative Trust with six other local primary schools. The core vision of CLIC is Changing Lives In Collaboration: ‘Together We Make The Difference’ and our values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Kindness, Fairness and Empathy underpin everything that we do.
What the school offers its staff
Applications are invited from teachers who:
• Have children at the heart of all they do
• Are kind
• Are excellent practitioners who can adapt to meet need, including SEND and EAL
• Have high expectations of the children and of themselves
• Embrace high quality continuous professional development
• Are excellent communicators who are committed to being proactive in working in positive partnership with all stakeholders
• Be willing to involve themselves in, and support, the wider aspects of school life
Commitment to safeguarding
The CLIC Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to satisfactory references and DBS checks.
