Summary
Warehouse Operative - Distribution Centre
Location: Goole DN14
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am till 4:30pm
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy Distribution Centre team. You will play a key role in warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload containers safely and efficiently.
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists, scanners, or warehouse management systems.
- Pack products securely for storage or shipment.
- Move stock within the warehouse using manual handling equipment or pallet trucks.
- Check incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy and damage.
- Label, sort, and organize inventory in designated locations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory control when required.
Skills and Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not always required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet productivity targets.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Basic English and numeracy skills.
