Personal Assistant / Carer Required – Daily Living SupportA caring and reliable Personal Assistant / Carer is required to support with daily living tasks for a sight-impaired individual.Previous experience supporting someone with visual impairment is preferred but not essential, as the right attitude, patience, and willingness to provide compassionate support are equally important. Client also has OCD whch impacts her daily life and requires support to maintain cleanliness of house.Hours:

  • 32 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Preferred hours are 9:00am – 3:00pm, however some flexibility is required to accommodate appointments
  • Hours may be split between two Personal Assistants
  • Pay rate £12.85 for employed or £15.94 self employed.
Role Responsibilities:
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Support with general domestic tasks
  • Light cleaning and household upkeep
  • Taking recycling and rubbish out
  • Assistance with admin and paperwork
  • Support to access the community
  • Accompanying to hospital and GP appointments
Essential Requirements:
  • Car driver essential
  • DBS check required, or willingness to complete one
  • Must be comfortable working in an environment where the client smokes outside
